Set on the end of the bugs body is a 1ct oval shape freshwater pearl.

The eye of the bug is set with a 0.03ct ruby.

Finishing the legs off are beautiful round cut Marcasite.

Set within the wings is a beautiful array of multicoloured Plique-à-jour enamelling.

The brooch dimensions are 41mm long and 39mm wide.

Weight of the brooch is 9.7 grams.
